Welcome to

Tchaikovsky National Ballet

Although deeply rooted in tradition, Tchaikovsky National Ballet is not afraid to incorporate contemporary touches that bring classical art to modern audiences. This balance between the timeless and the contemporary creates a fascinating show, where the elegance of classical ballet is combined with the magic of audiovisual innovation.
Come and enjoy the show.

The Nutcracker: Tchaikovsky and the Music of Dreams

Tchaikovsky’s score, considered one of the most brilliant in the history of ballet, takes us by the hand through this fantasy story. The composer not only captured the magical atmosphere of each scene, but also introduced innovations, such as the use of the celesta in the Dance of the Sugar Fairy, a sound so ethereal that it feels like it has come out of a dream.

More than a century later, The Nutcracker remains a bridge between generations. It is a work that invites us to dream, that reminds us of the magic of the unexpected and teaches us that sometimes the simplest thing -like a humble wooden nutcracker- can contain a whole world of wonders.

Swan Lake: A Tragedy Floating on Dreamlike Waters

Tchaikovsky and the Music that Elevates the Soul

From the first chords, the swan theme transports the audience to a dreamlike world, where each note reflects the calm waters of the lake or the emotional storm of its characters. The composer not only created music; he built a sonorous universe that resonates in the soul.
